Phoenix Pipe Band
Playing the Traditional Pipe Music of Scotland and Ireland since 1958

We're Having Fun!Looking for a musical home?  Phoenix Pipe Band might be your place …

Looking for a street band? … we play many parades, graduations, remembrance ceremonies, and highland games each year.  Our motto is “simple music, played well”, if this sounds like your idea of fun, come home to us.

Looking for a competition band?  … we have a WUSPBA Grade 4 band than competes regularly at highland games in Arizona, California, and Nevada.  We work hard to improve and prove ourselves against our peers.  If this sounds like your sort of challenge, come home to us.

Looking for a place to learn the pipes or drums?  ...we have started many young players and not a few older ones as well.  If you want to grow musically and explore the Scottish and Irish repertoire, come learn with us.

Our youngest player is 9, our oldest is on the far side of 70.  Many of our players have been with us less than year and are making a new home with us.  Some have played with the band, on or off, since the ‘60’s, and have come home again.  The only requirement is that you’ll give your best effort and have as much fun as the rest of us!

If you are a piper or drummer (or would like to be), we meet at 3-5pm on Sunday afternoons at Grand Canyon University at the Effington Theatre, just west of I-17 on Camelback Road in  Phoenix (as of July 6, 2008).
Welcome home!
